You logged in, grabbed breakfast, hit Start Game - and now you are staring at the screen wondering what to actually do to get strong. This is the exact routine Sol runs every day and every week on Global to climb fast, carry his group, and sit at Rank 1. Do these in order and you will feel the power spikes. The whole thing is built around one idea: chase the sources that give the biggest combat power per minute of effort, and never miss the weekly ones because they do not come back.

๐Ÿ“… The short version: Hit the Command Merchant at reset for your 12 weekly command quests (plus the Abyss ones), reroll chasing Nightmare tickets. Press J daily for your Daily Duties, reroll for Nightmare or Ascension tokens. Push Ascension Trial weekly for mysterious crystals toward your first Chaos card. Never skip Shugo Festival or the world bosses. Everything below is the full order.

โฐ Weekly Reset Timing

Everything starts with the weekly reset. The server resets between Tuesday and Wednesday midnight - for Sol in Phoenix (Arizona time) that lands as Wednesday morning. The first thing you do after you log in on reset is head to your main city.

  • Elyos: go to Zumion.
  • Asmodian: go to Nor, near the assembly.

Once you are in the city, find the Command Merchant. This NPC is the single most important stop for your weekly power, so it is where the routine really begins.

โฐ Why timing matters: Several of your highest-value tasks are weekly, not daily. If you log in late in the week and have not cleared them, you lose that power for the entire week. Treat reset day as your big catch-up session and knock out everything weekly first.

๐Ÿ“œ Command Quests (Command Merchant)

The Command Merchant gives you 12 command quests per server every week. Read that again - it is per server, NOT per character. Rolling alts does not multiply this, so make the 12 count.

Reroll for Nightmare Tickets

Take the command quests and reroll every quest chasing Nightmare Dungeon tickets. Nightmare tickets are the goal here because of where they lead (see the next section). Sol is ranked 33 in Nightmare and still sits on 2 tickets, letting them stack for a bigger push once his combat power is higher - you can bank them the same way.

Don't Forget the Abyss Command Quests

There is a second Command Merchant in the Abyss, and most players miss it entirely. It does not matter what faction you are - do the Abyss command quests every week too. There are more quests there (white, green, blue, yellow), so do every single one, rerolling for Ascension Trial or Nightmare tokens.

๐Ÿ“œ Don't over-roll. The Nightmare roll chance is much lower than Ascension. Do not go past about 7 rolls per quest - it gets expensive fast and the odds do not justify dumping everything into one quest. Reroll smart, settle for Ascension tokens when Nightmare will not show.

๐Ÿ“‹ Daily Duties (Press J)

Every single day, press J to open your missions. Your accepted command quests show up here (you can accept up to 20), along with your 5 Daily Duties.

What to Reroll For

Hit refresh on your Daily Duties and look for Nightmare (best) or Ascension Trial tokens. Sol's recommendation order:

  1. Nightmare - take it every time it appears. This is what pushes you toward the Colossus statue power spike.
  2. Ascension Trial - settle for this when Nightmare will not roll.
๐Ÿ“‹ Same rule as command quests: the Nightmare roll chance is low, so refresh with discipline and do not burn infinite currency on one duty. A steady drip of Nightmare and Ascension tokens is what gets you to the statue, and the statue is a genuinely big power spike.

๐Ÿ‘น Why Nightmare Matters (Colossus Statue)

Here is why you are chasing Nightmare tickets so hard. Completing the Nightmare cycle rewards the Colossus statue, and that statue is one of the strongest single power spikes you can get in this stage of the game.

What the Colossus Statue Gives

It grants legendary stats:

  • 45 Justice
  • 45 Time
  • 45 Destruction

In practical terms that translates into attack, combat speed, and perfect activation (perfect activation being your defensive proc). That combination is goated for a Templar - it feeds both your damage and your survivability at once.

๐Ÿ‘น This is the payoff. Every Nightmare ticket you reroll for, every Daily Duty refresh, is building toward completing the cycle and claiming this statue. Getting there is the biggest reason the command quest and Daily Duty grind is worth doing with discipline.

๐Ÿ”บ Ascension Trial & Your First Chaos Card

The Ascension Trial is a weekly run, and you want to do it at the hardest difficulty you can clear. The reason is the mysterious crystals it feeds you, which are the gate to your first Chaos card.

The 5-Crystal Math for Your First Chaos Card

Here is the exact path Sol lays out:

  1. After you clear the 2K hard mode, an achievement hands you 2 mysterious crystals.
  2. Completing the Ascension Trial normally gives you 1 more crystal.
  3. Go into the season shop and buy exactly 2 more mysterious crystals.
  4. That is 2 + 1 + 2 = 5 crystals - enough to craft your first Chaos card.
Only Craft Your Best-in-Slot Skill

When you craft, only craft your best-in-slot skill. For Templar that is Judgment. Your goal is to push your main skill toward level 20. Sol ended up with Punishment 20 by accident and would rather have had Judgment - RNG is RNG, but you control which skill you start on, so start on the right one.

๐Ÿ”บ How card leveling works: every card level-up is an RNG chance to level the other 3 skills on the card too (4 skills per card). You cannot fully steer it, which is exactly why you commit to your highest-value skill first and let the rest come as bonuses. Pair this with the full card plan in the Templar Global Build.

โ™ป๏ธ Nightmare Green Tiers & Recycle

Inside Nightmare there is a green-tier track worth clearing. Complete level 10 of the greens to unlock recycle, then start banking your points.

The Spending Order

Save the points from the last green and spend them in this order:

  1. Daeva crystals first - these are cheap at the early tiers, so get them up now while they cost the least.
  2. The statue next.
  3. Then save for wings OR stigma shards.

Sol bought all the Daeva crystals, then the statue, and is now saving - likely for wings, because he wants to see what his stigmas look like in another week before committing. That is the right instinct: buy the cheap, high-value stuff first, then hold and reassess before the big purchases.

โ™ป๏ธ Cheap first, big later. Daeva crystals early are the best value you will get from recycle, so clear them out before prices climb. Wings vs stigma shards is a judgment call - look at your current stigma levels and decide which moves your combat power more for the points.

๐Ÿ—๏ธ Dungeon Priority & Transcendence

Sol's rule for dungeons is simple: get every single item out of a dungeon before you move on to the next one. Do not half-clear a dungeon and jump ahead - finish its drop list first.

What That Looks Like in Practice

Sol has every Nuakum piece and did 28 runs (two pities) and still never saw the guard - so he is done running Ferocious Horn. He is on his third pity for Fire Temple (18 of 28), which will land around 36 runs total, with the ring being the last piece he needs. His stance: if he gets the ring and not the weapon, it is what it is - he is not running it again for a long time. The lesson is to commit to clearing a dungeon's list, then walk away cleanly rather than farming it forever.

Transition to Transcendence (T4)

Once you are 25+ (Sol is at 26), transition into Transcendence T4. At that point, after every in-game dungeon piece, Transcendence is your next priority. Focus your energy there on gold cards and best-in-slot skills - that is where the endgame min-maxing lives. For reference, Sol's gear at this stage is 135k combat power, 2.6k gear score.

๐Ÿ—๏ธ Priority order: clear each in-game dungeon's full drop list โ†’ then Transcendence โ†’ gold cards and best-in-slot skills. Chasing the shiny next dungeon before finishing the current one just leaves you with half-sets and wasted entries. Stat quality over item-level padding, same as the gear guide.

โš”๏ธ PvP Weekly Targets

For PvP & PvE balance, the weekly PvP targets to aim for are:

  • 30 x 5v5 matches
  • 3 x 1v1 matches

That said, be honest about your gear. If you are behind on gear, grinding ranked PvP is not realistic - you will just feed. Sol is behind this week, has not touched it, has had no drops, and is still wearing a blue ring because RNG has been brutal. He skips it when it does not make sense rather than forcing it.

โš”๏ธ Gear-behind? Skip it. There is no shame in sitting out ranked PvP for a week while you catch up on gear. And for the record - Sol is NOT swiping to close that gap, no matter what people say or donate. Progress comes from the routine, not the wallet.

๐ŸŽช Don't-Miss Events (Shugo Festival)

Never skip the limited-time events. The two to watch are Legion events and the Shugo Festival. Get all the keys from the Shugo event - the currency it hands out is strong, but only if you spend it correctly.

Where to Spend Shugo Points

Spend your Shugo points on these three things only:

  1. Artwork
  2. Stigmas
  3. Daeva crystals

Do not waste points on anything else. Daeva crystals early (before tier 3) are really cheap, so get those up while you can.

๐ŸŽช Stigmas beat Daeva crystals for raw CP. One level of a skill (stigma) is roughly 1,000 combat power - you get a lot more CP out of stigmas than Daeva crystals. Note that at level 15+ it costs about 8 stigmas per level for that ~1K CP (it varies by skill). Early on, prioritize cheap Daeva crystals; as you climb, stigma levels are the stronger CP buy.

๐Ÿ”ข Daily vs Weekly Counters

One quick note that saves people a lot of lost progress. On your daily and weekly dungeons, read the counter colors:

  • White number = weekly. Do these before reset (Tuesday night / Wednesday). If you leave them, they wipe on reset and you lose the clears.
  • Blue number = stacks. These accumulate, so you do not have to clear them on a strict timer the same way.
๐Ÿ”ข Check the color before reset. The white (weekly) count is the one that punishes you for logging in late in the week. Clear everything white before Tuesday night; the blue stuff can wait because it banks.

๐ŸŒ World Bosses You Never Skip

In the open world, never skip the world bosses. The four to track:

  • Lagta
  • Kashapa
  • Dark Tan
  • Retua

They drop artwork, uniques, and refining stones - all of which can generate Kina. Sol keeps a stockpile of uniques in storage, waiting for his gear to be ready to upgrade.

Do NOT Turn Uniques In for AP (Usually)

This is the big trap. You can turn uniques into a Supply Request (Silent Dart) for 21k AP each, but Sol only ever considers Gratuity (2 items = 67k AP). Here is why 21k AP for two uniques is not worth it: uniques sell for roughly 1-2 million Kina each because whales want every unique in the game. So selling them is almost always better than turning them in.

๐ŸŒ Rule of thumb: hold your uniques. Sell them for 1-2 million Kina each, or at most turn them in via Gratuity (67k AP for 2). Dumping uniques into Silent Dart at 21k AP each is leaving a fortune on the table. For the fastest way to turn that loot into gold, see the Kinah Farming Guide.
Quick Reference - Your Reset-Day Checklist:
  1. Log in on reset (Tue night / Wed morning), go to your city - Zumion (Elyos) or Nor (Asmodian)
  2. Command Merchant: all 12 weekly command quests, reroll for Nightmare tickets (max ~7 rolls each)
  3. Abyss Command Merchant: do every command quest (white/green/blue/yellow), reroll for Ascension or Nightmare
  4. Press J daily: accept up to 20, clear your 5 Daily Duties, reroll for Nightmare then Ascension
  5. Ascension Trial weekly at hardest difficulty: bank mysterious crystals toward your first Chaos card (craft Judgment)
  6. Clear Nightmare green tier 10, unlock recycle: Daeva crystals โ†’ statue โ†’ save for wings or stigma shards
  7. Finish each dungeon's full drop list, then push Transcendence T4 (gold cards, best-in-slot skills)
  8. PvP: 30 5v5 and 3 1v1 if your gear allows, skip if behind
  9. Shugo Festival: get all keys, spend only on artwork, stigmas, Daeva crystals
  10. Clear all white (weekly) dungeon counts before reset; blue stacks
  11. World bosses - Lagta, Kashapa, Dark Tan, Retua - every time; hold uniques, do not dump them for 21k AP
That is the routine. ๐ŸŒ™

Run this every day and every reset and you will climb - no swiping required. Sol is a legit non-swiper: a $30 battle pass only, normal gear, Rank 1. If this helped, subscribe, join the Discord, and come hang out on the stream - Sol is giving away ExitLag codes live on stream, so tune in if you need one. Big thanks for the support. We are taking off, and he is doing everything to keep us winning. Peace and love.
