Free ping fixes (do these first)
Before paying for anything, these cost nothing and often make the biggest difference.
Go wired
Ethernet over Wi-Fi is the single biggest win. Wi-Fi adds jitter and packet loss that wreck PvP timing.
Pick the right server
Play on the region closest to you. A lower base ping beats any optimizer trying to fix a far server.
Kill background bandwidth
Pause cloud sync, downloads, and other devices streaming 4K. Bandwidth spikes = lag spikes.
Enable QoS on your router
Prioritize your gaming PC's traffic in the router settings so game packets go first.
Update network drivers
Old NIC drivers cause latency and disconnects. Grab the latest from your motherboard/NIC vendor.
Close overlays
Some overlays and capture tools add input and network overhead. Trim what you don't need while competing.
